The goal of this project was to breathe new life into the Astro Bar. Since the outdoor area was larger than the indoor space, we proposed connecting the two spaces as much as possible. To achieve this, we added fully retractable glass windows, used large concrete tiles for the floor to match the existing terrace tiles, and brought soft seating both inside and outside to create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Additionally, we repositioned the bar to increase the distance between the bar and the terrace, allowing more people to be seated indoors.
The project’s colour scheme and material palette are clean and calming, featuring tan leather, pale green, white-washed oak, terrazzo tables, black tiles, and plenty of plants.
