The design of this house is truly impressive. It features a circular facade with a half-moon pool, all created by Rubens Cortes. Designing the interior was both challenging and enjoyable because the rooms were not your typical box-shaped spaces. We not only handled all the interior design, but we also had the opportunity to reshape the architectural spaces to optimize the flow of the house. We worked closely with Rubens Cortes’ office on the space planning of the villa.
One of the standout features of this project is our partnership with the well-known Mallorca tile and terrazzo supplier, Huguet.
Together, we designed a bespoke terrazzo finish that became the centrepiece of the interior design. We used this unique Huguet terrazzo in the kitchen-living area and some areas of the master bathrooms, such as niches and worktops. Additionally, we incorporated natural finished oak wood, soft and subtle textiles, and minimal furniture to bring the interior design together.
